Our Kitchen
When dining with us, you can enjoy your meal in our cosy bar area, alongside your dog, or in our modern restaurant situated to the side of the main bar area.
As well as our main areas, we also have a large function room (up to 120 people), suitable for all occasions.

We have ales, premium larger, a vast selection of wine & spirts, so we have something for everyone.
We always have a selection of local ales on tap for your arrival. We source our ales from breweries in the area, we've been told they are perfect after a long walk on the wall!
Our wine list, which holds over 30 different wines (all available by the glass) was created to give everyone a selection of the classic favourites and making sure we have something perfect to accompany your food.
Our bar is open to everyone & you aren't required to dine with us to enjoy a drink! When the weather is nice we also have several sun spots to enjoy a drink or two outside.
Our Rooms
Spend the night in one of our 7 unique guest bedrooms. Whether you are travelling the Pennine way, walking Hadrian’s wall, visiting the beautiful Northumbrian countryside, or simply just visiting a friend; spend the night with us!
All rooms are designed individually to create a relaxed and cosy ambiance, with our ensuite bathrooms stocked with beautiful eco-friendly toiletries and luxury towels.
Complimentary bottled water, tea/coffee, and local chocolates, alongside a hairdryer and free WIFI are all included in your room upon your stay.
Our Hostel
The Greenhead Hostel is situated across the road from the Hotel, bar & restaurant and as of July 2021 we have just completed a refurbishment, giving it a fresh look.
Our Hostel can sleep up to 48 people and includes a mixture of bunk bed dorms and private double or triple rooms. All the rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities, fully equipped kitchen area, boot room, quiet room, outside picnic are and lounge with TV, pool table & table football.
Although no food is included in the price, guests are welcome at the Hotel for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just for a few drinks. For larger groups staying in the hostel we can offer buffets across at the hostel or in our function room.

When you arrive with us, don't worry about their muddy paws! We have a wash area designed specifically for this along with towels to dry them off!
